The Gemini New Moon (previous new moon) sent us on a quest for the new: new information, new skills, new social interactions. The Cancer New Moon now wants us to integrate all that data.

How does what we learned change our personal narrative? How does it affect our understanding of others? How has our sense of safety changed? Who are we relative to our family, community, and the world? Who is in our group? Who is outside of our group?

Gemini is like the child out collecting bugs and rocks, while Cancer is the Divine Mother who casts a wary eye over all the child wants to bring home. Some things can come in, others must stay out.

Her goal is to provide the ideal environment in which to raise her young. To this end, she is careful, discerning, protective, and nurturing.

In addition to identifying our family role, our place in the world, and our sense of safety, this is a great time to update our living environments to accurately reflect who we have become.
