Last week’s kite formation is splitting apart. Tomorrow, a new one will form with Mercury taking the Sun’s place at the tail. But for today, there is just a little bit less synergistic movement between the earth planets, and our day-to-day routines might feel a little crunchier . . . like more effort is required to push things to completion.
We still have a strong focus on the Aries/Libra axis: How do we show up in relationships? Are we compromising too much, or not enough? Are we looking to others to reflect our own worth? Are we making unfair judgments about others’ worth? Mars is nearing the Libra South Node and is opposing Chiron in Aries. This configuration will intensify the confusion around old identity and relationship wounds . . . if we let it. Confusion also holds the potential for accessing divine neutrality. When we don’t know what to think or how to feel, it is the perfect opening to stop, soften, and have total compassion for the entire complicated dance.
This is also good advice for the Mercury/Neptune opposition. Virgo Mercury is in conference with Lilith, a vessel for feminine power and truth-telling. What kind of issues are they discussing? Environmental justice? Or maybe the healthcare system? With Neptune in opposition, it is a fine time for exploring all angles of a given topic . . . But, take care to stay in divine neutrality. This may be challenging as Lilith, Jupiter, and Uranus will be encouraging Mercury to get riled up and take action.
It may, however, be worth assuming an observer’s role for the next couple of weeks. There is a rather intense upcoming Aries Full Moon on the 29th, followed by several Yod aspects the first week of October. Much of what transpires will feel fated, and therefore, may not require your direct action.
And what of Venus? It should at least be mentioned that she is in an exact conjunction with Juno, cementing a friendship that has been growing throughout the month of September. Juno in Leo is teaching Venus all about power, vitality, and full, unabashed expression. Our desire to express our unique perspective, personality, and energetic signature is growing stronger. The
sextile to Mars is helping us do just that. But we need to be careful of erratic impulses (Uranus/Jupiter square). Defiantly chaotic and unfiltered is different than authentic. Let’s just shoot for authentic.
I couldn't help but pull another tarot card from the beautiful Chrysalis Tarot deck.
Card of the Day: Gaia (aka the Empress)
The energy of Venus conjunct Juno in Leo wants to be highlighted. Fearless feminine energy is ready to emerge today. Are there personal values, priorities, or desires that you have put on the back burner or kept hidden? Now is the time to step into more of a leadership role in your own life. Express who you really are today without shame or apology.
Venus, ruler of Taurus, also wants to highlight Earth energy. There is a close relationship between authenticity, truth, nature, and beauty. Nature doesn't lie. It is a living representation of truth. What is true is beautiful because it is an unadulterated, uncontrolled, unmanipulated presentation of divine energy and natural law. Gaia, in all her beauty, is truth manifested.
So when we practice radical authenticity in our own lives (Venus/Juno in Leo), we are healing our souls as well as the earth.
With Love and Moonlight!
