A Triple Yod . . . What?

That’s right! Just as we are gathering ourselves after the Aries Full Moon, we have to fasten our seatbelts for some fated choice-points. Today, we have a triple Yod. Three Fingers of God redirecting our lives in some way or another.

Neptune in Pisces at the apex of the first Yod (formed on October 1st) will have us either envisioning a new reality or simply wanting to escape this one.

That creates the context for the second Yod (lasting from October 1st through October 4th) with Mars at the apex in Libra exactly conjunct the South Node. The cosmic creativity is pouring in from Neptune while rule-breaking energy is pouring in from Uranus. With our self-protective impulses (Mars) in unfamiliar territory (Libra), we may feel either confused by all the options or completely out of options . . . but Mars under stress must act. So, we may be making choices that feel out of character or uncomfortable in some way.

The Venus in Leo apex of the third Yod will really get that fated energy heating up (October 3rd through October 6th). Venus conjunct Juno in Leo (nearing closer to the star Regulus) wants to express creativity, vitality, and authenticity. She is feeling the intense energy of Pluto squaring the nodes (as she rules the South Node); she is hearing Neptune’s storytelling; and she is working with Mars to figure out next steps.

Mars is putty in her hand, so as this last Yod activates, our impulses will continue to fire in interesting new ways.

Bring awareness to any new or unfamiliar inclinations or ways of being, any squirmy or uncomfortable feelings, and any sense of being trapped or frozen. This is how the triple Yod configuration is working in your life. It is a pressure that is trying to squeeze you through a portal.

Just be mindful of staying in alignment with the nodal axis. Aries/Libra and Mars/Venus are teaching us how to be in relationship without negotiating our integrity away. Be wary of making easy choices that trade internal peace for the mere appearance of external peace. And on the other hand, be wary of making choices that result in a winner-loser dynamic.
