Juno, Lilith, and Venus

Thought we were done with yods? Not quite.
Asteroid Juno (commitment, partnership, fairness) is conjunct True Lilith (unbound feminine energy). She is taking Venus’s place at the apex of the Yod formed by Neptune and Pluto. This prolongs a bit of that pressure-cooker energy until the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra.
This Yod is a bit gentler . . . But it is drilling down deep into our relationship sector and emphasizes specific issues along the Libra/Aries nodal axis. How can we elevate divine feminine energy within a partnership? How do we celebrate our sovereignty with consideration for others? These will be the themes we wrestle with for the next year.
Venus is exactly conjunct the fixed star, Regulus. This symbolizes royalty, rewards, and riches. But who is donning the crown? Will it be the divine feminine or the distorted feminine? It depends on the content of her conversations with Juno (partnership) and Lilith (feminine power) over the last summer. And the content of those conversations, in turn, depends on the health of the masculine/feminine dynamic within our own lives.
We all are, of course, rooting for an upgrade, but this will take some concentrated effort. Venus ruling the South Node will demand that we purge a lot of distorted Libran energy, personally and collectively. How have we suppressed our desires for the benefit of another or the illusion of safety and peace? Has that dynamic then resulted in a victim consciousness or a simmering resentment? How do those wounds bubble up within our relationships? Do they show up in passive-aggressive tendencies? A lack of genuine connection? Competition?
For the last few days, Neptune retrograde in Pisces has been asking Venus to dissolve old stories that only serve to trap painful emotions in our energy systems. This helped clear the slate for Saturn retrograde in Pisces (currently opposing Venus) to insist that Venus (on the throne of Regulus) integrate spiritual wisdom that withstands the test of time. And Pluto retrograde in Capricorn is still asking Venus to dig deep for a true alchemical transformation.
We are also getting some help from Mars, ruler of the North Node. Mars (individuality, primal impulse, action) is currently in the last degrees of Libra (communion, consideration, negotiation). This signature (planets in their opposite domain) is a clear indication that we are not meant to swing from one polarity to the other. We are meant to heal, integrate, and elevate.
This is all leading up to the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Libra on October 14th. If we do our shadow work, this eclipse can initiate a true revolution . . . not only in our relationships but in our ability to integrate all polarity and soften the illusion of the separate self. Big stuff, folks!

Okay, time to call in the Tarot: Five of Spirals (Chrysalis Tarot Deck)
Conflict, tension, and resentment can feel like fireballs within our energy field. But these challenging emotions serve to illuminate our own shadows. Let’s not feel them in vain. Let’s use them as lanterns to light up the dark crevasses in our psyches. Dragon energy can help transform pain into wisdom.
In Love and Moonlight
